Diet for having a girl or a boy
Since the dawn of time, couples have dreamed of being able to choose the sex of their child
After grandmothers' remedies with random results, science stepped in: eating certain types of food would increase the chances of having a girl or a boy. Focus on the girl or boy diet.
Choose the sex of your child:
Several studies have shown that certain eating habits - and more precisely certain mineral intakes - could modify vaginal secretions and thus influence the path of sperm. By following an adequate diet, a woman could therefore act on the progression of sperm, carriers of the X chromosome (which gives rise to a girl) or of the Y chromosome (which gives rise to a boy).
This method was discovered by Professor Stolkowski and made famous by Dr François Papa, gynecologist. According to various studies, this technique is almost 80% safe, but opinions remain very divided on the question.
To have a daughter, you would need a diet rich in calcium and magnesium, but low in sodium and potassium. To give birth to a boy, it would be the other way around. The only condition: start this diet at least two and a half months before conceiving her baby and apply it to the letter every day.
No need to continue it once you are pregnant, since the sex of the baby is in any case definitively determined from conception.
The perfect diet for having a girl:
In theory, any woman who wants to conceive a baby girl should eat a diet rich in calcium and magnesium, but low in sodium and potassium. Opt for dairy products (except cheese): milk, but also yogurts, ice creams, fromage blanc, petits-suisse, etc.
It is also recommended to consume white meat, fresh fish and eggs. In the fruit and vegetable section, choose green salads, green beans, spinach, pineapples, apples, tangerines, watermelons, pears, strawberries and raspberries, but also dried fruits such as hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds and unsalted peanuts. Skip bread and rusks (which contain salt), as well as cold cuts, fish and salted, smoked or frozen meats.
Also forget about pulses (dry white beans, lentils, dry peas, split peas), soybeans, canned corn, as well as all salty cheeses. As for drinks, drink mineral waters rich in calcium and / or magnesium. On the other hand, no sparkling water, no tea, coffee, chocolate, beer and even less cider.
What to eat to have a boy?
Objective: to favor foods rich in potassium and sodium, while reducing the intake of calcium and magnesium. You should therefore adopt a diet low in dairy products and high in salt.
Consume without moderation: all meats, cold cuts, salted fish (cod), smoked (herrings, haddock), canned (sardines, tuna, mackerel in white wine), cereals such as rice, pasta, semolina, white bread, ordinary rusks, savory aperitif biscuits, but also pastries. In the fruit and vegetable section, prefer dried vegetables (beans, dried beans, split peas, lentils, corn) and all other vegetables, whether they are fresh, canned or frozen, except green leafy vegetables (spinach, watercress , dandelion) and dried oleaginous fruits (hazelnuts, almonds, peanuts ...).
Skip the milk and all dairy products, that is to say cheeses, yogurts, petits-suisse, white cheeses, but also butter, desserts or milk-based preparations (ice cream, flans, Béchamel sauce), crustaceans, shellfish, eggs as a main course (omelets, hard-boiled, fried, poached, hard-boiled eggs) and finally chocolate and cocoa. As for drinks, drink fruit juice, tea, coffee.
Note: if the boy's diet seems less difficult to follow, it is also much richer! It will therefore also be necessary to monitor the balance.
Precautions to be taken with the girl or boy diet:
Before starting this type of diet, always consult your doctor. Only he can give you his backing, because there are many contraindications: high blood pressure, kidney failure, diabetes, nephritis, hypercalciuria, heart problems.
In addition, he will also give you some advice to prevent a deficiency that would be harmful for you and your baby. Indeed, it is important not to decrease or increase inconsiderately the intake of minerals: you should never fall below the recommended daily intake. Also, don't get carried away, this method is not 100% safe. You might be too disappointed if your baby is not the sex you want in the end.
